About Us
The Sam Steele Ball Tournament is the largest slo-pitch tournament in the Kootenays and one of the largest in BC. The tournament is sanctioned by Slo Pitch National (SPN) and is a provincial qualifier in 4 divisions. This year the tournament runs from Friday June 18th to Sunday June 20th in Cranbrook, BC.

The first A&W drive-in restaurant in Canada opened on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg in 1956. The combination of great tasting burgers, onion rings and frosted mugs of famous A&W Root Beer served by friendly carhops was an instant hit.
